We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SwitzerlandThe room was not fresh with broken corners and paint peeling at the bottom. Terrace was open to everyone. The room had a strange shape and configuration with the toilet in a small cubby, the sink outside and the shower bang in the room.
Location is excellent, close to beach, promenade and center.

GermanyThe toilet has a glass door that didn’t close properly so you had the feeling of using the toilet being in the middle of the room. The breakfast was tolerable for 3 days, but after that I would have gone somewhere else.
The staff was super friendly. The place clean. The beds comfortable.

South AfricaDon't expect a 4 star hotel. While it is not at all a bad hotel, it's just not quite worth it's 4 star rating. Maintenance is not a priority. No room service. No coffee/tea making facility in the room. Our room was very oddly-shaped. With a huge open area and one couch on one side, and the shower, hot tub and bed crowded together in the other half of the room. That being said, it is still worth it if you come with the expectation of a 3 star, maybe.
Location is perfect, it is one block from the promenade, view from our 3rd floor room was good. Staff are very friendly, food is in general good quality.

Germany1. Check in, super slow. 2. Rooms are unsatisfactory: 2.1 not enough hanging rails for wet towels. 2.2 doors squeak and slam 2.3 beds come with uncomfortable pillows and only 1 which is flat in the middle 2.4 if you want toiletries you have to ask! Shampoo not provided on 1st day on arrival and i found out the next day that it actually exists in the hotel . Toilet paper not replaced.. 2.5 coffee station not available and coffee for room service is also not an option before breakfast at 8:30 so you better not want any because depending on 4.1 you might be blessed with a coffee if you have a nice front desk employee and if you're unfortunate you'll be told "come back when the breakfast buffet is open"... 3. Hygiene is very poor 3.1 room was not mopped or swept after the 1st night stay and sand walked in from outside remains as a reminder that the remaining room was not cleaned, wiped or even touched! At best the beds were remade. 3.2 floor mats after showering were removed and not replaced so the room flooded when ever we showered which consequently meant we had to put a bath towel on the floor. The shower being used as the water simply goes everywhere has only a shallow rise from the room floor and poor drainage of the water down the drain. 4. Service Policy is moody 4.1 some staff are absolute darlings and paint a smile across your face with their bright attitude while others are simply "doing a bad job" and you have to put up with their sour mood and unfriendliness. Simply, there's no standard to be followed or even a policy. You're at the mercy of the person you are dealing with and their mood! Not worth staying here. There are better hotels in the area with much better prices or on par with the price of this property. 4 stars should be reduced. With rain the hotel stairs flood and the access to the elevator needs towels to keep the water out! Ridiculous and unprofessional. Well below 4 stars! Official complaint will follow.
