Nice lady that's checking you in will answer all your questions show you around and recommend what to do in the area they will also give you a ride to the city. You can rent free bike if you want.

The room I stayed was spacious, tidy and neat. The host was friendly and amazingly helpful. The story was that I accidentally left my personal belongings at the previous hotel on the other side of Lake Kawaguchi. He offered to drive there and fetch my lost items.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Very nice cozy hotel with a stunning view in the japanese style room. Everyone was really friendly in the hotel and they had no problems with speaking english. There are also 2 onsen, one for women, one for men. Everything was very clean. We loved staying in the hotel. Thank you very much for this experience.

As before, on our first visit here, the staff was SO kind to us and our dog. The breakfast is amazing and there are so many things to do in this part of Yamanashi. Having an onsen in the hotel is so nice after a day of hiking. Uchu brewing down the hill is a perk as well...

The local breakfast was good, including the Yamanashi local specialty houtou. The room was clean and comfortable. Good soundproofing. The free amenities, such as skin care set, were also good quality. The free shuttle to and from the train stations runs all-day and is very convenient. We went to Fuji-Q Highland and didn't have to spend money on parking there. The hotel lobby has nice luggage lockers.

Very good value for money. Great location, not far from station and Maizuru Castle. Clean, nice room with big windows, cosy shared kitchen. Air conditioner worked perfectly. We didn't meet staff in person, but during our stay they arranged a nice opportunity for hotel guests to buy delicious Yamanashi peaches for a good price.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is just opposite the Kawaguchiko station which makes things easier if you are travelling around Yamanashi a lot. Nearby, there is the famous Lawson. On top of that, the view of Mount Fuji from my room was breathtaking, I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.

Right beside the legendary phashi bridge, and conveniently located near a lot of late night restaurants (which is very difficult to find in Kawaguchiko). Service 10/10 : As expected from the top level ryokan. You will be serves as king during your stay. Room 10/10 : Clean and comfort with stunning Lake or Fuji view. They even have puzzle game in your room for killing time. Food 11/10 : Both dinner and breakfast is superb. Facility 11/10 : The real onsen hotel. The highlight of the stay is in the hot spring bath. If you don't want to join the public bath, the private onsen can also be rent for a family or couple to have good time together. Hot spring footbath on the roof top is incredible. Lobby also got leisure area where you can enjoy complementary drink. Lobby got wine testing machine. (Buy prepaid card at the reception) Location 10/10 : The location is pretty comfortable with plenty of shop and convenient store in walking distance. Also near carpark.

Unexpected Fuji Mountain view that didn't show when book, room price is comparative low then I accepted no view BUT, Fuji MT amazingly in front of me through the wide balcony (Not all room have direct Fuji Mt view but at least the location can see beautiful Mt view).
