The room temperature was quite high surprisingly. The floor heating was strong and stable when you consider the weather condition. The bed was quite comfy with a lot of pillows. The rooms were stylish. Breakfast and dinner hall was so cute and meals were so delicious, especially the dinner.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. The place is so beautiful decorated and the staff is very friendly and professional. We highly recommend hotel Egilsen

One of the better hotels we encountered in iceland that had a great value for money. Great location, kind staff and very good breakfast. Nice views from the room.

It was great location and amazing space-comfortable, cozy and clean. I loved everything about it and would recommend for sure. Due to bad weather conditions we were forced to stay here, but I am very grateful for the staff, especially Ana, the manager, for being kind and compassionate with us. If we have not stopped there we would have been forced to wait out the weather induced roadblocks elsewhere possibly in our car. Otherwise the room was nice especially the view.

A lonely place with an excellent restaurant and a historical ambience, good for exploring Snaefellsnes and the peninsula. Walking, hiking, a beautiful waterfall just across the valley, visible from the lounge, the ocean nearby, good for a trip watching northern lights and generally a very quiet and comfortable resting place. Very helpful staff.

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. staff are very friendly. we were forced to stay one more night because roads are closed due to weather condition. we asked the staff a lot of questions and they are very helpful to address our concerns. hotel manger is also helpful on this matter. very appreciate.
