Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. really beautiful view, comfortable stay and nice attention to detail. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Iceland ( croissants and home made jam were delicious)

Really lovely cosy old building with beautiful old wooden floors, antique cabinets and nice colored painted doors and walls. Great beds, nice setting, nice shower. Old fashioned elegant grandeur.
