We enjoyed our stay at The Kings Head Hotel. It is a great location for exploring beautiful North Yorkshire and the Moors. We were warmly welcomed by Bob, and found all the staff to be very friendly. Breakfast was included in our booking and was very nice, with a good selection and plenty of tea and coffee. We also had two evening meals during our stay, which were excellent. There was a good hospitality tray in our room. We had a twin room with comfy beds, and the shower was hot with a nice range of toiletries.

Fabulous hotel with pub attached breakfast was awesome . The gentleman that checked us in that night was so friendly and helpful. Fantastic location in the most adorable little town square. Room was fabulous inside with a nespresso machine too We booked this as a last minute thing en route back from Edinburgh’ we decided to do the North Yorkshire Moors railway in Pickering and this town is only 20 minutes away . Could not believe how adorable Helmsley is ‘ what a fantastic last minute find

I had a room in the Old Lodgings as the hotel was full. A short walk from the hotel (and car park) but that wasn't a problem for me. I would stay here again, and happily n the Old Lodgings, but I suspect the rooms in the hotel itself are great so would consider there if available. Its a nice location, access to many of the attractions around North Yorkshire is easy...Trains and Busses offer an alternative to driving. Recommended and I hope to stay here again in the future.

Located right in the centre of Ripon and a great place to base yourself for touring North Yorkshire. The hotel is part of the Wetherspoon's group and therefore right above the pub. Typical Wetherspoon's menu, a good variety and well priced. There is limited parking actually by the hotel but the Pay & Display car park is a five minute walk out of the side door of the pub. Parking free from 8pm to 8am and even parking for 24hrs was only £2.50.

A wonderful Country House Hotel set on the outskirts of Burythorpe - North Yorkshire - Hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable in all areas - Excellent staff with a special mention for Jill and Alison the Manager who is passionate about good customer service and this shines through in all departments - Cuisine was excellent with good choices for all meals and well prepared and presented. - Good selection of drinks from the bar at sensible prices

A beautiful hotel steps from stunning scenery in North Yorkshire. Staff all friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast, a phenomenal restaurant downstairs (must try!) and the loveliest sitting room/lounge with two fireplaces. We were extremely comfortable and I'm sure will be back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful sun room and terrace. Great temperature control in the room, a lovely shower head.

Very peaceful small Hotel, excellent breakfast, beautiful gardens to walk around and sit for an early evening drink. out room was a superior double, very quiet, large comfy bed (nice and firm) small balcony overlooking the gardens and for miles in the distance over the north yorkshire moors, we didn't stay for dinner, as i had a meeting in pickering, but the evening menu looked very interesting.

The hotel room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The views were incredible and our daughter loved seeing the piglets being fed in the morning! Breakfast was home cooked and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be booking again in future as it was so peaceful. The perfect place to unwind, but within easy reach of the lovely North Yorkshire seaside resorts.

Located in the centre of Thirsk within easy walking distance to all amenities and the superb North Yorkshire countryside. Geoff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and beyond. We slept well in a comfortable well presented room, ate a hearty full English breakfast each morning, and look forward to returning to the Hotel again in the summer.

The hotel is lovely and clean. It is well situated in the town of Pickering , very close to the North Yorkshire Moors and also near to Whitby. There is a lovely Lounge area and Bar. Very pleasant dining area and good bedrooms. Breakfast is very good. It's a great place to relax and unwind.

From the hotel quality bed to the modern bathroom and interesting decor alongside the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts and the view of the Abbey make this the perfect place to stay for Whitby, Robin Hoods Bat and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Lovely looking property, good parking facilities. Excellent position to explore the town and North Yorkshire Moors Railway. I missed the car park and ended up miles away could do with a large sign in the car park stating the hotel name.

The Feversham Arms is a lovely hotel situated in the centre of Helmsley which is a pretty North Yorkshire town. Dinner was great. Staff were all friendly and professional. We were upgraded to a suite with a comfortable sitting r room

Good breakfast and good evening meals. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Room was comfortable but not what I was expecting. Ideal location for visiting North Yorkshire and North East. Near to Northallerton railway station.

Everything about the hotel was excellent, beautiful room and fantastic food. You need a car as there is nothing in the village but it is very close to Pickering and other North Yorkshire attractions.

Good central location for exploring North Yorkshire. Rural setting with easy free parking. Lots of options for breakfast and delicious evening meals. Staff were all super friendly and very helpful.

Lovely character hotel set in the lovely little village of Malton with a beautiful view to one side of the hotel, although we had a roadside view! Good base for exploring North Yorkshire.

Hemsley is a perfect place for an adventure in North Yorkshire. Beautiful market Square. Hotel has a lovely cosy feel about it, very welcoming.
