Beautiful and comfortable Pousada. Others are closer to the “port”, but this place is worth the walk. Very helpful, when we neeeded something, very nice staff. We had a wonderful stay!

Set in Praia de Araçatiba, Mar da Lua provides an outdoor swimming pool. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge and a bar. We liked everything. We chose this place, because the rating for the location was 9.7 and for sure it is. It is amazingly beautiful place - beautiful mountains, peaceful ocean, cozy rooms with seashells used as part of the decoration everywhere. The boat trip that one can purchase from the Mar da Lua takes you to the true paradise beaches. We also chose the place as other guest were writing only great reviews about Mar da Lua owner Francisco. And for sure he deserved all of them - we wanted to organize one very special event for us there and he even gave a contact of his sister who helped to organize it for us. We are so grateful that Francisco allowed us to have a small family wedding there and so grateful to his sister who made it happen.

Boasting a shared lounge, terrace and views of mountain, Hospedagem Cantinho Da Vitoria is situated in Abraão, 300 metres from Abraao Beach. The owner was super nice and friendly lady, she did not speak English, but was always welcoming us very warm, was making fresh breakfast every morning, offering coffee and cookies in the afternoon. The room had A/C and the shower with hot water. Perfect!

Located within a few steps of Aracatiba and 1.1 km of Araçatibinha Beach, Pousada Cibeles provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Praia de Araçatiba. Guests can enjoy sea views.... One of the nicest hosts I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He's very organized, his place is well kept and he's very thoughtful. The breakfast was great! the view is amazing. Made me wish that I had stayed longer. Tip: when arriving on the island, ask for "Pousada do Sr Luis" , instead of Cibeles, the locals will know it better 😂

Located in Abraão and with Abraao Beach reachable within 400 metres, Pousada Korui provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. Sissi is super friendly and really helpful, we had a few blackouts on the island but she did everything she could to help! The rooms are lovely and there is a nice area to chill in. The breakfast is amazing.

Located 500 metres from Abraao Beach, Canoa Abraão offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a terrace. Super friendly and non intrusive hosts, they helped us leave our stuff early before check-in and also later during check out. The island was without electricity, their property had a generator that enabled the place to have warm water and light etc despite the power cut. They also had a complimentary afternoon lunch for the guests (and breakfast, obviously). Also close to some bars that are more low-mid range in price.

Situated within 300 metres of Abraao Beach and 1.1 km of Abraaozinho Beach, Casa da Ilha Inn, Ilha Grande features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Abraão. This was an exceptional stay! The location was amazing, super close to Abraao by walking to the beach, but also far from the party noises at night. The property itself was beautiful with sea views everywhere. Breakfast was excellent too! It was easy to book transfers and tours through the hotel. Best thing about the location was the boat tours picked us up right at the hotel’s private dock, so we didn’t have to wait in line at the pier with the crowd. We also used their kayak (complimentary) twice and were happy with this amenity. We arrived late the first night and ordered burgers with the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Rental snorkel gear and minibar items were super reasonable prices, they don’t up charge you for your convenience! Staff were all extremely friendly, helpful, and communicative. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone going to Ilha Grande!
