Just the perfect hostel! Beds were comfy and facilities clean and working, but the main thing are the people. You WILL meet new people and you WILL make friends and you WILL have a good time. Plenty of events both during the day and night to take part in and be surrounded by amazing people. I will not forget my stay there and I’m already thinking about comming back. ( I have to, because I missed most of the touristy stuff due to having too much fun, no regrets tho!) Special thanks to the staff- Paige, Caitlin, Jo, Camila, Greta, Franco, Collin, Mattea ( hopefully I didn’t forget anyone)

This property had the friendliest ,most helpful staff I have ever encountered. Pedro who welcomed us helped with our luggage always smiling and happy to please. The hotel was extremely comfortable ,the breakfast was plentiful. The whole atmosphere felt like an old family home.The room was spacious and clean, and we had a balcony. It was well situated for Barcelona's attractions.The only annoyance were the ongoing roadworks but that was not the hotel's fault. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It will remain one of of the most memorable experiences that I have of Barcelona and the friendliness of its inhabitants. I am really looking forward to our next visit to this very special hostal

It was my first time into a hostel as a solo traveler, and what I liked about Hostel One Paralelo are the following: - perfect place for meeting new people from all around the world, from the staff to all the solo travelers (mainly all were travelling alone), and every one was super friendly - all the activities organized by the hostel for the guests, 3 per day, every day, from visiting the city, to indoor activities like drinking games, and each night finished with a party at a different club - some activities outside the hostel but not only, were organized together with the other 3 Hostel One hostels from Barcelona, and this way you were able to meet more new people - sometimes the hostel offered free food (also vegetarian options) and free drinks to the guests, which was very nice of them - all the rooms from the hostel were clean and kept clean each day I liked the vibe of the place so much, and all the people I met there in only 3 days, that I still have my wrist band with Hostel One on my hand, to remind me of this great experience, and to do it again in the future. So, if you are a solo traveler and not only, Hostel One Paralelo is the perfect place for you in Barcelona (some say it's the best one from all Hostel One hostels from Barcelona), to meet new people through all the activities organized by the hostel.
