Positive section of review
The room was very clean. It is near to Chuo Sobu JR line as well as a subway line, and there are many food choices nearby. Convenience stores and supermarkets are nearby too. As we arrived late, we had to do self check in, but the process was very smooth, effortless, quick and easy. There is a washing machine in the room which is of great help! We can see Tokyo Skytree from the rooftop! In addition, the staff has kindly helped to store our luggage overnight for a few nights so that we could travel light out of Tokyo to explore other parts of Japan. We had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay here again when we come back!

Hotel is located in a quite street just above a train station, which is very convienient . For us as we like to walk it was great, but its a bit far from center, but walkable. Also there are many convicience stores around (7-11, family mart) , a few small food places. Rooms are good , breakfast is great, there is all day coffee and drinks in the lobby , which is nice when you arrive after a long day (see picture for fresh ground coffee). Gym is also nice and well equipped. Good internet and WIFI. Very easy to take trains for Osaka castle, Universal, Namba and more.

Nothing, all good. We had great time in this hotel. (Small thing : hotel serves breakfast eggs the Japan style. half liquid, Some people like they eggs fully cooked and this could make a diffrence).

This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Japan fantastic price and the 2 double beds were so comfortable and the biggest room. The area is quiet so much better than Gion which is so touristy. We loved our stay in this hotel wish it was longer.

Staff were very helpful. It's a sociable hostel with all the facilities we needed, for a good price. It is located close to Kyoto Station which had convenient restaurants and transport connections. We would recommend this hostel.

It was really nice to have this little fully equipped flat: dormitory, kitchen, living room, garden... I felt very comfortable and it was perfect to have a break during my journey.

The beds, toilet and bathroom were great. It was nice to have a decent washing machine alongside the cooker. The bathroom has a feature to dry your clothes too!

The sofa cushions needed cleaning. The sofa had a tear in it. There were cobwebs in the corner of the room and desk upon arrival. No storage for our clothes. So everything had to be kept in a suitcase which was annoying. The cleaner also did not turn up for a scheduled cleaning. Bed sheets were not changed on a regular basis, so we washed and changed them.

Big bed and fairly spacious room. Nice shower. Room has pleasant features. Online check in. The staff is friendly, helpful and fluent in English.

Bathroom is a bit small. The hotel offers daily room cleaning for an extra fee but it is not clearly specified upon reservation - the hotel management tries to advertise these policies as eco friendly but fails in fully achieving their goal (e.g. see ventilation in the bathroom constantly on and therefore extremely environmentally impactful. This can be turned off upon request but not directly by the costumer) - therefore giving the idea of trying to minimize costs in a bit of a cheap way.
