We traveled to Palomino during the rainy season so the main road was a bit of a mess, but this is absolutely not under the control of the wonderful hotel we stayed in. The walk to the beach is a bit longer than other hotels, but honestly, it is nothing and gives much even more time to see how and why Palomino has grown to be such a famous small town.

There are too many things to like about Villa Eden. The top two are, its people and the infrastructure itself. When we arrived on motorcycle, Greicy was in reception and she immediately helped us with everything. She was very professional and extremely kind. She showed us our room which was an incredibly beautiful one. Not only was it a bit secluded, the decor was stunning and the use of wood, bamboo, and glass was beautiful. The swimming pool was close by and the other guests were all very responsible and followed all common rules so that we could all have a great experience. The layout of the hotel is amazing and the beautiful photos they have uploaded do not come close to how beautiful it is in person. We used the swimming pool and Nicolas offered us some drinks which he went on to prepare. They were delicious and as we do not drink alcohol, non-alcoholic. He played salsa music for us and it all felt quite magical. Later that night we went to have dinner at the restaurant, and that was even more fun. The restaurant was filled with foreigners chatting and enjoying themselves. They played wonderful music and we danced quite a bit. Junior was GREAT. He not only served us but was constantly asking how we were doing and played some songs for us. We would like to thank, Greicy, Nicolas, Junior, and Michael for such a wonderful stay. we hope to see you soon again!

The only hostel with a club blasting music across the street. It was only really loud on a Saturday night. The other nights were not so bad.

Great hotel right in the middle of the principal street where all the restaurants and bars are. Friendly staff who had helpful recommendations and a great breakfast each morning. Wifi was a bit hit and miss in our room and there were building works going on at the hotel - however they had warned us about those the day before we arrived.

The location was perfect! And all the staff was very nice and the pool, garden and cocktail bar were superb! The only thing that was disappointing is that we didn't have air conditioning in our room and we had a fan instead... but overall an awesome stay! I would say it's the best hotel in the main downtown area!!!

Room did not have toilet seat or showerhead. Asked to have dealt with, but was not addressed nor was any discount given. Other than that, room and hotel was beautiful and staff helpful.

Our room (Mango) was incredibly dark and gloomy was not expected considering the great pictures on the website. Also few things in the room were a bit sloppy like some wholes on the bed nets, a proven window and not so neat cleaning (bathroom was dirty in some places and there was a dead cockroach under one of the tables). Lastly, and most importantly, one of the cleaning ladies stated one of our children was a spoiled one (malcriado), something we consider completely out of line towards a guest of this hotel and towards anyone in principle as parenthood is no topic for anyone to comment on.

The common areas are without a doubt the highlight of the property. The two pools were the perfect activity for our short stay in Palomino. since we did not have time to explore the area, staying on the main road was good for us to get what we needed. Good food, ice creams, crafts etc. The man who received us was exceptionally nice and answered all of our questions. The 3 breakfast options where fantastic!

the only thing that could be improved would be the air conditioning in the room. there is only a floor fan, not a ceiling fan or AC unit so this means the room gets almost unbearably hot.

absolutely gorgeous property right on the main street in palomino, but the hotel is still quaint and quiet. the breakfast was amazing, staff so friendly and the hotel was very clean with lovely facilities.

unfortunately there is no fridge in rooms and no hot water (but thats a standard in Colombia). I have stayed in 3 different rooms (2x without AC, 1x AC all together a week). In standard (no AC) rooms you dont get a shower gel, but you get a soap (one of those you can always end up picking up from the floor). AC rooms are located in attached part, so you get more privacy, but there is no view and no balcony. Only 2 sun beds available it makes it hard to get one :) if you want to bring in you own food or your own drinks and you want to enjoy it at the pool, there is charge of 25000COP - ridiculous!

Very lovely small villa with a cute patio and 2 small pools (1.5m deep) just in the centre of the village, a 15min walk to the beach. Rooms are nice (standard rooms have a mosquito net, AC rooms dont have it), but what makes this hotel so nice are the views over the green area and the pools (GET YOURSELF A ROOM WITH A BALCONY!) and the common area where you can chill, read books or just do nothing. Beds are comfortable, but they should change the pillows (they are ok, but improvements should be made). standard rooms with a balcony have better views than AC rooms (they dont have a balcony). from what i have seen, this is the prettiest place to stay in palomino if I dont count those hotels which are directly on the beach.

Staff extra nice, well located (10min walking from the beach an on he main road near restaurantes and cafes). Room was cozy and clean, no AC but thr fan was just fine, mosquito net. Wifi works great, two pools, bar and cool lounging areas, excellent breakfast with fresh juice, eggs and coffee. Good value for money :)

Such a nice place to stay! Big room with a fan and a small balcony. Great and lovingly prepared breakfast. Staff speaks English. You can get coffee at the rezeption. Location is perfekt - 10 min to the beach and less than 5 min to the main road (and bus stop).

Its all a little crammed in, close to the road. In the room we couldn't use any of the electrical plugs because of a weird fitting headboard to the bed. The bathroom smelled bad.

The place looks very good, with two swimming Pools and the best breakfast. The room is nice, and we liked all the green plants.

For a pricey (yet fair for comfort and location) French-owned business, we don't see the point in "hiring" so many volunteers when you could hire and pay more local staff. This also applies to artists who came to the hotel/restaurant (although we don't know if they are paid by the owner, it appeared they relied on tips only). One night, over the weekend, sleeping was almost impossible due to the parties happening around the hotel, inclusively in the hotel restaurant next to our rooms. The staff was great, but we got the impression the management could be better. In our room, Jazmin, the electricity socket was semi covered by the bed structure which didn't allow using big travel adaptors, which is a bit annoying but could be easily solved.

Great location, breakfast is really nice even though it could vary a bit more, the pools are quite good and the facilities are great to relax. The staff was always very helpful in answering our questions and welcoming.
