the pool area would need a little bit of maintenance. ( shower, stairs onto the pool, wooden floor … ) rooms and restaurant are a little dark.

Hotel management. I don’t know what’s really happening there, but it is a mess. They didn’t give us the keys for our room as they don’t have them for some reason (they ended up giving us one), no milk for breakfast because they had some logistic issues. So you drink your coffee black…. They are short of staff (which the hotel kindly explained form the beginning), but to be honest, it’s not our problem. You don’t get the service that you expect. When we asked for the timings and price of the bus to go to Palomino, they don’t know. If you ask them to call for a taxi or some sort of transportation, they sigh and tell you to go outside as probably a bus will pass by. There’s nothing around the hotel, which is great, but no restaurants or places to go and grab something to eat. And summed up to this management issues… it is a problem. We had a couple of electricity blackouts, apparently in all Palomino. Room is big but basic. with no hangers, chair, or anything to put your stuff. Bathroom is open air, which is beautiful, but it can be an issue if it rains. Plus, when you shower, the whole floor gets wet. No hot water in the shower. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again. Even though the place is beautiful, peaceful and you’re in contact with nature, the hotel experience doesn’t make it worth it. Once they solve their issues it might be an option, but till then, I would rather stay somewhere else even if I have to pay a little bit more.

Great location. Right in front of the beach, which is empty and you can enjoy it mostly on your own. Restaurant food is very good (we had lunch, and some entrees, and they were very tasty). You’re in contact with nature, the sea, and different animals, so you can relax and disconnect. They let us check out later (the hotel wasn’t full). Beautiful beach and very comfortable hammocks to chill and enjoy.

The breakfast at Playa Roca Ecohotel was amazing! They had the coolest thing ever - plantain pancakes! They were so tasty and different from regular pancakes. I loved every bite! The dinner was even better! We ate tasty seafood, and then we had a bonfire on the beach! The staff was really nice and made everything perfect.

Overall a really expensive stay for what it was. We were really disappointed with the cleanliness and a number of different areas. We addressed these points in a follow up email directly with the hotel which they have ignored and not acknowledged. Would not recommend staying here.

Playa de la roca is the best eco hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the service is kind. You could hear the ocean from the room and walk just a few meters and you were at the beach. The bathrooms are gorgeous, they clean the room well every day. The best part are the owners, a lovely family that will spiritually welcome you and revive a flame in your spirit. I can’t wait to go back to this amazing place.

It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy with friends... we enjoy the private beach and the personal was always taking care of us. It was really close to palomino, so we could visit the town and enjoy some time over there

The place was really nice and quiet. However, there were two issues we didn't like. First, the prices of yhe meals were very expensive. It was actually cheaper to go to the town of Palomino and buy food and groceries that we needed. Second, the moment we did the check-in we had to wait after 3pm until another couple left the place. so I suggest the admin people to first consider the prices you charge for lunches and dinners and second be more attentive to the check-in procedures.

The hotel was really nice, quiet and in front of the beach. It was gateway to get away from the city and be disconnected for some time. The beach was beautiful and the food delicious.
