We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

ColombiaOur trip friends booked transportation to the nearest airport. the hotel cancelled 10 minutes before they have to leave and they couldn’t make it to the airport on time. The staff was very rude, didn’t help them and told them that they were not in charge of issues related with transportation even though is on the services section on booking.

ColombiaThe noise - There were some facilities improvements going on and workers started shoveling and talking right next to my room at 8am. I had a reeeeally long walk on the tayrona park and just wanted to rest a litlle bir more, but I couldn't, due to the noise. The Restaurant/Beach - I was hoping to get some rest/relax at the beach (which is kind of a deck next to the restaurant), I was hopping to lay back, read a book, have some drinks, but the music was too loud most of the time and the same playlist was played all over again. by the third day I couldn't be there anymore and went somewhere else to get some rest.
the location is great, on the beach and 10 minute walk to main road plenty of restaurants. The bed was comfortable (I stayed in a shared room). Also it has a pool, where you can refresh.

United StatesI have to admit I found this property On lonely planet Which is usually very good at providing recommendations. Therefore I am a let down by this place. First of all, there is a dog with the tick the size of a 1 inch bubble feasting on him. He was around all the tables where the food was at and when I mentioned it to the staff they didn’t want to do anything about it. I’ve been traveling for 10 months and understand that stray dogs are part of the culture in central abs South America, but I’ve never seen a dog with a tick that huge on its back and no one willing to do anything about it. It was also super close to the food and all the guests and ticks carry deadly diseases. Seemed very uncleanly to me. In addition, the dormitory is not in a fully enclosed building. They do not share with you that you are actually outside and there are a couple of curtains that are protecting you. As such all sorts of animals get inside such as frogs, lizards and mosquitoes. For $21 dollars this seemed like a huge rip off. Should have been more like $10. Since it is not enclosed, you can hear people partying all night long. Please be advised you will not get a good nights sleep. They also charge for everything: towel, locks, etc. My experience was so bad that I decided to leave a night early even though I had already paid for the second night. Only good thing about this place is the staff and that it’s right on the beach. Jasmine was a great waitress and treated me well.

NetherlandsTHERE IS NO BEACH. IN ALL PALOMINO THERE IS NO BEACH BECAUSE OF COROSION. So don't advertise with a location on the beach. I felt cheated. I came all the way to Palomino for the beach. Another thing is the loud music everywhere all day. You could not hear the waves.
The rest is good, the wifi, the room, the very good breakfast, but again the most important: NO BEACH
