Alison is extremely helpful and will go out of her way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Plus the bread is delicious and the garden is beautiful

The quiet location of the hostel on one hand involves a bit of walking to the touristy center of Palomino or the beach on the other hand. But if you are too tired, just get a Mototaxi.

Cool Cabaña-style rooms spread over a spacious property. The hostel is a bit away from the main tourist street in Palomino. So you can relax peacefully in a hammock or on a porch swing between the beautiful plants and trees of the hostel. Alisonn, the owner, deals attentively with her guests and gives a lot of info about what´s there to do in and around Palomino. You can order a gorgeous breakfast from her, best with her husbands fresh french bread. Only a few minutes walking from the hostel you can take a bath in the nearby Rio Palomino.

The host is so lovely and helpful and the hostel is a really nice quiet place to relax. The garden is beautiful and leads to a beautiful place by the river. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was perfect!

Sexto Sentido was the most beautiful place to stay for some days of relaxation, tranquility, nature and peace. The accommodation is at the back of the village and is very quiet, with direct access to a quiet beautiful part of the river where you can swim and bird watch. For us, the fact that it was out of the main town was a plus, though you can walk into Palomino very easily. There are lovely places to sit and relax in the accommodation’s garden amongst the beautiful trees and plants. Towels and soap are provided and the rooms are equipped with strong fans and mosquito nets. There is a lovely atmosphere at the accommodation and the family who own it are very helpful and friendly (ask about the walk to see the snowy peaks!). The breakfast is delicious and fresh. We extended our stay from 2 days to 4 days- we had to drag ourselves away before we booked to stay for a month! The value for money is amazing- we couldn’t recommend it enough!

Very basic equipment. I like the rustic hut a lot, although a chair would be nice, for example, but no real point of criticism

Finally a place where you can do what the night is mainly for: sleep. Great importance is attached to a good night's sleep, but barking dogs from neighbors cannot always be completely avoided. It is a 10 minute walk to the main street. I always managed to get to the beach without a taxi. Owners are friendly and easily accessible

The bathroom in the apartment smelled a bit.

Beautiful and quiet place away from the busy center of Palomino, close to the river where you can swim. Delicious breakfast with fresh French bread and great service from Alisonn, who helped us organize activities and answered any question we had. The kitchen in the apartment had everything we needed to cook meals.

Alisonn was really nice and we've felt very comfortable, moreover she bakes really good and tasty bread, delicious. In the end we stayed one night longer and we've really enjoyed the place and the calmness. The river is really close and it was amazing and very refreshing to cool down there. We also loved the not so central location, away from the main street but yet so close to reach everything easily.

The hostel is located quite far from the action in Palomino so we had to walk ~15-20 min to get anywhere. The "road" to get to the hostel is VERY poor - I'm talking GIANT potholes that filled with water after it rained which made it sketchy to get there with our luggage with car or tuktuk. I know this isn't the hostel's fault necessarily but it made it difficult to reach them. The room is basic and swelteringly hot while we were there. There was a fan, but that was insufficient to cool down the room to a comfortable temperature for sleep. Our room included an outdoors area which was pictured with two comfortable chairs but in reality there was only one so my partner and I could not both hang out there (they may have now updated their pictures to reflect this).

This hostel is owned and operated by a family and there is a nice family feel to it. The breakfast was very good and included good quality French bread (as advertised in their name). The owners were very friendly and made recommendations to helped us plan our limited time in Palomino. They have a very sweet dog who led us to the river and hung out with us. It's located close to the river which is very convenient.
