Bit more variety with the breakfast would have been nice. That said, it was best coffee I had in Colombia! Juices were nice too. Neighboring place played CRAZY loud music first night till 4am!

Luckily we had quiet neighboors. The "walls" between houses are so thin, you can hear everything. No free water. A little generic style.

No closet/counter space

The pool is great way to cool off and boasts a really cool palm tree, hehe. Right off the main strip with no noise by easy to walk to destinations with the beach about 6/7 minutes down the road. Staff was lovely and chill. The rooms don’t really have anywhere to put your clothes/items to hang but that is typical of Palomino - just a heads up!

We went during rainy season, so we found a lot of insects in our room because of how the ceiling is made, nevertheless we could sleep well regardless and mosquito nets worked perfectly. The breakfast is the same menu each day, and on the last day they ran out of bread so it was splitted between the guests. We didn’t find coffee, it had a schedule and we could not meet it.

The breakfast was plenty and great. The facilities are amazing, like a hotel built in the middle of nature. Pool is amazing. We had the pizzas one night and they were good. Cocktails are also nice and a nice beer by the pool could help you relax a lot. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was located in the midst of Palomino, which allowed to you roam it freely from a central point.

We had cockroaches in our first room, 10 of them. After speaking with the staff about it we got another room which was cockroach-free.

The hotel is really quiet, it has a swimming pool and the rooms are very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The amount of time given to have breakfast is great and the location as well.

There is a problem with flies when you are having any meals. I believe it is not a problem of the restaurant but the location per se, but if the restaurant could do something about it, it would be great.

The place mixes different things, they have their own restaurant, bakery and icecream shop. The prices are fair and the food tastes reaaly good.

the drain to my bathroom got blocked which caused a bad smell which made things a bit unpleasant. Pool is quite small.

good location and nice staff. mosquito net in the room which is appreciated as the room is more of a bungalow thus insects more prone to get in. I was allowed chill at the pool all day after my check out, which was nice.

Breakfast could have been varied.

Nice pool, beautiful garden and friendly, helpful staff. despite being in the thick of it it’s a quiet place, easy to sleep. The coffee and pizzas are excellent. Prices are in line with other similarly pitched hotels and restaurants.

Room only got done once in a week. Empty water bottles accumulated till bin full. Most days key left at reception but room not cleaned.

At the moment I arrived to the property the girl in the front desk let me know that as I am colombia I have to pay for the 19% of Tempe taxes price but the app said súper clear before I booked the taxes were included. I was notified about it just at the moment I arrive, not before, it was kind of disappointing because we were looking for other options looking for the price.

The rooms did not have a wardrobe therefore it is a shame one has to put clothes on the floor or keep them in the bagpacks. There is not coat rack or similar so you can't comfortably hang any wet swimsuit or clothes.

Is one of the best hostels in town, very chilled, nice pool, full services (water, energy) which is not easy to get in La Guajira. There is a spot with hamacas which is very nice to talk or read. The location is also good, not far from the beach and very close to other restaurants.

Staff could have been more attentive. Compared to other places we’ve been in our trip, the staff in this hostel was neither bad or great.

Everything! Every time we entered the room there were cockroaches everywhere. When we went to eat in the restaurant there were cockroaches on the table. We woke up to wolf spiders in the bed, and when we complained the owner didn’t seem like he cared and was extremely rude back to us, using foul language basically mocking us. Just to top it off the “pepperoni pizza” we ordered didn’t even have pepperoni on it but some cheap sandwich meat, and the pool was very dirty and never cleaned.

The best part was leaving.

The pool was not cleaned often enough while we were there.

Beautiful space and really sweet staff. The rooms are cool during the night thanks to the palapa roof. Know that you’ll deal with some bugs in the space though because of the open style roof (mosquito nets around the beds). If that doesn’t bother you it’s a great stay!
