The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.

It was an incredible experience visiting the beautiful Guangxi scenery, new hotel in the perfect location, special mention to the hospitality from the owner and all the staffs, they serve with heart and very helpful, our family like all the food they serve. Will stay here again for my next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yangshuo Ancient Garden Boutique hotel, I will definitively recommend this hotel if you want to discover this beautiful area. The hotel is very nice, well located in a quiet area but not far from the city. It is nicely decorated and the rooms are beautiful. Sophia took very good care of us, she organised all the visits and activities for our family, everything was smooth and perfect for the family.
