El Samay Hotel Boutique in Canoas de Punta Sal provides accommodation with a private beach area, water sports facilities. The property has a terrace, as well as a shared lounge. The property is beautiful with a great beach and ocean (great waves!). The grounds/gardens are meticulously cared for and the staff are super attentive! The food was tasty and for all 3 meals and good size portions. A little piece of paradise, very very tranquil and quiet, which is what we were looking! Although about 1.5hr from Tumbes airport, the hotel set up a private transfer that was on time and very comfortable.

Featuring an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Punta Sal Suites & Bungalows Resort offers beach front accommodations in Tumbes. Free WiFi access is available. The landmarks are beautiful, day and night, excellent environment, always at a good temperature, not very hot nor very cold. Good facilities! Games for children, beautiful restaurants with a wide variety of options for every meal, very modern bathrooms and even a little shop where we could find some neccesary implements (sun blocker, a nice dress). We got sick at some point but the pharmacy from the town got our medicines to the resort at a low price too! Every night we had a funny companion... little foxes from around! Totally harmless, looking for food and some sympathy, a lovely addition to our stay We enjoyed the pool the most, it even has a jacuzzi which is turned on every now and then and gave us the chance to meet new people too. The attention was fantastic, we'll be remembering Viton, Guido, Arian, Camacho and the others for a long time and hope to see them all again next time we go!

Perfect place for a romantic retreat. The place is absolutely amazing - located at the beach with an incredible scenery. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They make pizza in the pizza oven on saturdays. So make sure you stay there for the weekend!

I loved how private and quiet it was. Everyone working there was a delight. Very helpful, very friendly.The food was amazing, they had a chef there every day/night for lunch and dinner. I'm for sure coming back this place. And I am recommending it to all my friends here in the US.

The place is really cozy and pretty, sooo close to water, which made for a awesome experience, sleeping to the sound of waves and watching the ocean from my room. The staff is very nice, and helpful. Paola is a gem, she personally helped my father in law enter the water, who is really weak and has a hard time to walk, helped us get a cake and helped us out in every situation. The place has cool tours to offer with señor Milton. Lastly i met my amigo Totoro there who is the best doggy out there, a real Piraña with a heart of gold and the mind of a hunter. El cazador de los mariscos.
