Nikko'da, Nikko Toshogu Tapınağı'na 1 km mesafede yer alan Shinkyo Inn'de teras, ücretsiz özel otopark ve bar bulunur. We had an excellent stay at Shinkyo Inn, Mark and his partner are so lovely and caring, offering extra items for our room (towels, snacks, tea, coffee etc) and giving excellent advises about the places to visit, recommending restaurants. Overall, our stay was very nice. The location is excellent, most sightseeing locations are in walking distance and the famous heritage bridge is just in front of the Inn, offering beautiful views of the river and surroundings. There is a small bar/ restaurant in the Shinkyo Inn, where we could eat late dinner. Breakfast was excellent and additional toasts were provided on demand. Mark and his Japanese partner are excellent hosts, always available for a chat or some advice. A lovely place which we highly recommend for anyone who wants to visit Nikko.

The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko features restaurants, fitness centre, a lobby lounge bar and shared lounge in Nikko situated by Lake Chuzenji and overlooking Mount Nantai. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in from extremely friendly and responsive staff to facilities. Everything is perfect

Incredible experience from start to finish. I only stayed one night, but I felt immediately at home and could not have been happier. The private, in-room onsen was the highlight of the room without question. Such a wonderful way to unwind and I spent hours in there. They keep the onsen very hot, hotter than most I've been to, but it's easy to add cold water to cool it down and if you go too far, a call to the front desk will have hot water piping back in. I enjoyed soaking while watching the snow fall through the open window - and was very comfortable! The room was extremely spacious with sliding partitions for each area, so if traveling with a partner or family, it would be easy to create privacy when needed. In-room amenities were great. Nice lotions, soaps, etc. Lighting in the room was very nice - I believe about 6 different settings you can choose from to create the mood you're looking for. The meals were absolutely top notch and unforgettable, both the dinner and breakfast. I can't say enough good things but the food surpassed all my expectations. Simply lovely. Checking in and out was very smooth and simple. It was easy to catch a taxi from directly outside Tobu Nikko station and when it was time to leave, the staff called a taxi for me.

Nikko Station Hotel Ⅱ is located a 3-minute walk from Tobu Nikko Station. Nikko Tosho-gu is a 10-minute drive away. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. I liked the room's design, corridors, and lobby ( I admit that is mainly why I booked this place over all other options). We were lucky to get a space on one of the top floors, and an exceptional view of the city and mountains was there, too. A big supermarket is located close by, approximately the same distance (but in a different direction) as the station. The staff at the reception allowed other people to watch a sports match on the TV in the lobby, where vast and comfortable couches are located. That was nice of them. In the hall was also a free coffee and tea stand, which is always nice to have, even if you have a kettle in the room. Outside the building was a locker room, which saved trouble finding a free locker at the station.
