We love the view and the comfortable room. The common space is well equipped and clean. The staff gave us flexibility about the check in date which help us to overcome car rental and whale watching postpone issue.

When they saw that our elder kid did not eat the adult food at breakfast, they offered to switch to a children's plate from the next meal. They also found our younger kid had forgotten her stuffed animal after our departure, contacted me and sent it home. Thus, the service provided by the staff was excellent. Highly appreciated.

Route Inn Grantia Shiretoko Shari Ekimae is only a 1-minute walk from JR Shiretoko Shari Station. It features an outdoor hot-spring bath, massage services and modern rooms with free wired internet. Excellent location, next to the train station and the bus station. They have onsen at the hotel, which is great. Very good breakfast served in the morning, with a variety of westerner and asian food.

Boasting dazzling sea and mountain views, Shiretoko Noble Hotel offers hot spring baths and a restaurant. It has Japanese-style and Western rooms, some with an outdoor hot spring with sea views. Yummy breakfast and nice location

Hotel Kifu Hotel Shiretoko is a 10-minute drive from Shiretoko National Park, which is assigned as a UNESCO World Heritage. Checking out of this hotel was a sad experience. I stayed for one night only and it was superb. Amazing location and view of the sea, amazing food, and an out of this world private open air hot spring, in a snowy wooden cabin. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, I needed help with a few things and they really went above and beyond. Even included a free ride from the bus station. I want to return here every year.

Well located, in the center of Shari, close to all amenities. The house is very pleasant to live in. The Japanese-style room is particularly comfortable and I enjoyed sleeping there. The bathroom is large and perfect for a relaxing moment. There is also a nice kitchen, although I didn't use it. (There are some very good restaurants in Shari!) The heating reinforced the cozy character of the house, while outside you can watch the snow fall. All this in a magnificent setting, because the Shari-Shiretoko region is truly magnificent to discover... The host, from the real estate agency, is very friendly and responded to all my requests. Thank you for this lovely stay in Shari! I would love to come back soon again.
