We loved to walk on tatami everywhere. Osen facility was incredible with an amazing view. Breakfast was really generous with a lot of choices.

Hotel Sejour Mint in Hakuba is a stylish and comfortable accommodation conveniently located within a 5-minute walk or 500 meters from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort. Jon and the team were so helpful and nice! He picked us up from the station the first day. The room was clean and comfortable for the two of us. The included breakfast was great, and alternated between Western and Japanese style. This is the perfect spot if you’re skiing Goryu as it’s a quick 10 min walk to the hill. The recommendation and discount for Cherry Rentals nearby was also appreciated. The lower level onsen was a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes. They also offer dinner (we had the Nabe hot pot) which was a great and tasty way to finish off the trip. Would recommend and stay again! Thanks!

Situated right on the Nakiyama Slope of Happo One mountain, Marillen Hotel by Hakuba Hospitality Group features Austrian-style décor, carved wood furniture and a fireplace. Superb hospitality from Bernd and Naoko! The staff are welcoming just like the bosses. We love the beddings. Extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best served in hotels.

The property is well located, clean, equipped with a beautiful onsen, interesting restaurant with traditional Japanese style cuisine and wonderful views of the mountains. However, above all else, the Tokyo has an amazing staff. All we’re kind, welcoming and helpful. In particular, the younger gentleman working the ski rental facility was able to answer all of our questions and ensured we had what we needed for a great day on the slopes at Happo One. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Exceptional service and reliability. When we checked out, we mistakenly left important possessions in our room. We are very grateful have been able to recover all of what we had left behind. Karuizawa Prince West is a testament to admirable Japanese culture and the hotel’s policies.

It’s clean, very well equipped with heater, cooking utensils. The owners are so nice and friendly. Language may be a barrier but they tried really hard to accommodate all our needs. The place is slightly secluded which is perfect for quiet vacation but you can still go to town centre by just taking 1 train to Karuizawa station and the owners are nice enough to drop and pick you!
