This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. 10/10 stay - the hotel exceeded all expectations. It is beautifully decorated and feels very luxurious. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful with every request, and were some of the most friendly and helpful staff we’ve every encountered. The on-site laundry is super useful and free of charge. The onsen facilities were wonderful (but bear in mind they are not available to tattooed guests). The room was large , well laid out and very clean. The pretty zen gardens on each floor were a nice touch. This hotel is a steal for the price - would recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto (and gives a little taste of a ryokan experience while staying at a hotel).

Great staff, nice buzz around the reception/coffee shop/bakery area. We made sure we had a big enough room to fit our suitcases and it was perfect. Fab to have the option to eat in the hotel restaurant and a roof top drink. Fab location to walk around Kyoto. We did about 20,000 steps every day!

The area is really nice to stroll around too, very lively at night. Best sleep we got the entire trip.
