We highly recommend this hotel and would go back when in Naples again.

Rooms are huge, we had the junior suite due to free upgrade offered through booking.com. Huge spa in our room, stunning bathroom, balcony, room service, fantastic fresh breakfast. Beautiful, helpful hosts. You must stay here. Little bit of a walk to restaurants. Parking included and very safe behind a boom gate.

Just 500 ft from the shops of Capri's Via Camarelle, the Mamela offers free Wi-Fi, private grounds, and an outdoor swimming pool. The Marina Piccola beach is a 10-minute drive away. The infinity pool was beautiful! The staff were extremely helpful and tracked us down to notify us of a time change of our ferry. The rooms were beautiful and spcaious.

The view across Sorrento to Mount Vesuvius was breathtaking. They provided an excellent breakfast that suited everyones taste. They also provided a great choice of evening meals. Even though the hotel was high above Sorrento it did not mean that you were isolated as the hotel provided a shuttle bus, which operated regularly; early enough to meet any early tours; late enough to enjoy a night out without rushing to meet the shuttle.

I bought the l`arte in campania card for 3 days,which cost 32 euros and i entered the archaelogical museum and pompeii this included transport in the region,i caught train to pompeii scavi for pompeii and train to ercolana for coach to vesuvius (coach and entry to vesuvius not included on card) but metro and buses and funicular was.

Old Caserta (medieval) great for historical buildings, country scenery, including a magnificent herd of goats and a beautiful old church. There are also a couple of restaurants there--Lupo's was recommended but we chose to picnic instead Read that a scene from Star Wars 5 was filmed at the Palace but Palace was closed on a Tuesday so we couldn't see it. Next time we'll take a train to Campania to explore. Fantastic shopping in town-bought a leather jacket at Nera's and the shop owner hemmed the sleeves for us that very day. If you want an easy pace, fantastic food and history go here.

Naples was the control center of south Italy before Italy was united, so there are many museums and castles of interest within the city itself. It is also a good base to explore the Campania region like Pompeii, Ercolano, Mt. Vesuvio and even Sorrento. Highly recommended for people to get the Campania arte card Tutte la regione to travel. And of course, Naples is the origin of pizza margheritas and they take their Baba al rhums very seriously!

Municipal officials friendly and courteous. Beautiful church of St. Antonio di Padova and Castello Ducale. Wish the facilities were open more regularly. Need a few days to see the sights.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station (we came up from Naples by train), the Royal Palace (our main reason for visiting Caserta), and car rental outlets (we left in a rental car to visit the Campanian wine country. We were perfectly satisfied with our choice, the location perfect for our needs as well as being close to the centre of town (for window shopping) and good restaurants (there is an in-house restaurant, but we ate dinner elsewhere). The room was comfortable and well appointed.

It's very refreshing to talk with like-minded people on the roof terrace to conclude a day of exploring the area. Staff were the nicest people, had great fun and would totally recommend to anyone travelling in Campania.

Amazing property and very elegant room. Initially we were worried as the room on Booking.com looked small and dark. We were wrong. The room was very elegant and bright and cozy! It looks very well maintained and new though it has been opened for more than 10 years. Gym is slightly dusted as it’s outdoor but it’s not hot in the morning in July as shades and fan keep it cool. Property is amazing and the pool view is 12/10! Now I see why it took 12 years to restore this place. What a beautiful and amazing property.
