Just 150 metres from the port, the Ossidiana is located right next to a volcanic-sand beach in the fishermen’s neighbourhood of Scari. Breakfast was rich. The staff was very helpful. And the view was incredible.

Just a few steps from Canneto Beach on Lipari island, La Zagara offers a sun terrace overlooking the islands of Panarea and Stromboli. It has a free Wi-Fi zone and garden with citrus groves. I’ve stayed here many times over the years. The hotel is lovely.
