Great space with lots of fresh air. Overall a great experience. Interacting with Loredana and Filomena made it that much more better. The apartment is a nice walk from the center of town, and the area has a lot of character. I recommend staying at Santa Maria Flats if you are looking for a friendly and affordable place to call home while visiting Sal! Also, Filomena, the apartment manager, really is great. She was kind of enough to give me an impromptu tour of the area when we happened to leave the building at the same time.

The apartment contained all we required good bed good shower Well equipped kitchen we only used to make tea coffee toast and make drinks to take to nice pool area which was quite and relaxing and clean . Grounds well kept and looked after , security excellent. Location good close to Santa Maria centre. The host was very nice and sorted us a new kettle when the one we had failed . This accommodation is not 5 star but we have been to Sal several times and enjoy being in the town contributing to the local economy.

First good impression: the proprietor collected us from the airport (otherwise unusual). Wonderful Apartment with a view of the sea, where we got a welcome drink. 3 Bedrooms 2 storeys, 2 terraces, spaceous Kirchen and living room. Open- minded, generous proprietor who gave us information about all the island and was always at our disposal to help us whenever needed. Besides, Palmeira is an authentic fishing village and you come into contact with the local people- not so easily possible elsewhere.

I had a fantastic stay at this clean and well-maintained apartment. The shower was small but had good pressure and steady hot water. Ana, the owner, went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. She was incredibly helpful and kind, allowing me to store my belongings at her salon and providing a place to shower after my late evening ferry ride. The apartment’s convenient location made it easy to walk to both the beach and town. Overall, a highly recommended and hospitable accommodation.

Porto Antigo is a really beautiful Hotel! Our apartment had direct access to a small beach! This was perfect four the kids. The pool is also very nice an close to the pool there is another small beach without stones our rocks in the water...also perfect four children!! The apartment was perfectly clean and you have the basic equipment for cooking!! We spent a really good time in Porto Antigo and I will definitely come another time when I go to Sal.

We had a wonderful stay at the OceanRoof. The apartments are modern, very clean and superbly equipped - very important for us: the comfortable and clean bed. The hotel is also very quiet and ideally located for us, right by the beach and also by AnguloBeach for water sports. JC is a really attentive host who was always helpful with many bookings such as car rental, taxi and restaurant tips. An absolute recommendation for a stay on Sal!

Spacious, modern and comfortable rooms. Great cleaning service on a daily basis. Delicious breakfast with various choices. Super friendly staff and very helpful support by Dory for clarifying important details beforehand and organizing individual activities and transfers. Great location, 2 min walk from the most beautiful beach on Sal. Would highly recommend for an individual stay on Sal, instead of resort holidays.

Great hotel in Santa Maria. Great location, staff and comfort. Much better than most 'all inclusive' options you will find in Sal as you will be immersed in the streets of Santa Maria. Thanks to all the staff, with a special mention to Kevin and his attention during breakfast every morning. Thanks to all the remaining staff as well, really great.

This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment in Santa Maria. It is close to the beach and the town and all the Restaurants and Bars. I generally dont eat out and the facilities in the apartment enable me to eat in alot. I will return to Sal and Santa Maria in 2024 and most likely book this apartment again if its available

The apartment is in the best location ever. We stayed for 3 weeks and it felt like home. The pool and the beach is right in front of you. The host was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment. I have visited Sal many times but this place was the most breathtaking. We will definitely be returning!

Great breakfast, very quiet hotel really relaxing, the staff is great , food at the restaurant is also good and prices are quite balanced, the hotel is in a very good location, just in front of the Hilton, with direct access to the beach (across the road). our experience was very good , on our 2nd trip to Sal.

Hotel is located in the east part of the island, quiet and cozy. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The beach right in front of the hotel is very nice, not crowded. There's also a very good restaurant at the beach I enjoyed a lot. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Sal.

The apartment is simple but adequate when you spend most of the day on the beach. The location of the property is its best point. It takes 2 minutest to one of the better beaches on Sal The staff was responsive to any issues and lucky enough we had only one minor issue to deal with.

Breaksfast was good but not exceptional. We liked the old style and ambience of the Hotel and the fact that it is on the beach but near the city which is good for going out for diner as Sal is very safe to walk at night in the street. The beach club is very convenient.

The breakfast with the traditional dish was great. The room was very comfy. The pool area was great. and the mood with the ocean right there was perfect. The whole environment was very peaceful. If we go back to Sal island we will go back to this hotel.

We go to the Hilton Sal annually because we like it so much, the location is perfect, it’s very clean and the grounds are very well maintained. The food is good and the staff are very helpful.

Perfect lokation in nice Porto Antigo 2 complex. Well maintained pool surrounded by lovely garden. Infinity pool with salt water few meters away, on the coast. Good sandy beach.

A great choice, far more comfortable than a hotel, yet not overpriced. The host was really helpful and communicative, definitely the right way to see Sal!
