So much to do! You definitely need more than 3 days, but we made the most of it in those days. You definitely need to have a plan on food because everything is expensive, but we had a blast. We ate at the Wawa gas station, it was okay. We also ate at Mel’s diner in Universal Studios, it was horrible. We bought stuff to make our own food! Great trip, but we packed too much in in the 10 days that we were there so didn’t really have a break. So much to see and do so highly recommend planning what you want to see in advance and have some down days. Parks can be very expensive so think about which ones you really want to go to. Highly recommend Disney Springs we’ve been to Orlando multiple times but never here and we loved it. Great restaurants, live music and run activities for kids. Orlando has grown exponentially since I was last there 15 years ago. The traffice is horrific - high speed & crazy drivers. If you don't know where you're going, don't even try driving. Theme parks are not as nice as before. Hugely expensive from tickets to food. Universal used to be 1 park with 1 admission price. Now the same park is split into 2 parks, each with a separate admission. Then they tack on an extra $100 or more for Express Pass to avoid waiting in lines if you fall for that. They wanted $28.95 for a cheeseburger & $13 for a hot dog at Universal. We didn't go to Disney this time, but I'm sure it's the same deal.

For Disney we took £20/£25 Ubers which were about a 20 minute drive. The hotel is also located on a road full of restaurants and little shops also making things easier. If you are after an affordable place to stay whilst wanting to enjoy the parks and other Orlando attractions this hotel is a perfect option. The room and facilities were fairly average, but more than okay if your priority is the parks and location.

They have a cute little dog park. The pool was big and clean, had 2 Jacuzzis which you don't think you would need in Florida but I used it at night because I got cold in the pool. They have a bar right by the pool as well which is great for the adults. They had more than enough chairs at the pool. Antoher great thing was my kids got to eat free the entire time at applebees which has a buffet for all types of eaters. I will definitely be going back.
