This is truly a Music City.
This is truly a Music City. The bars and live bands are everywhere downtown. Country music dominates...but The Blues is also here. There are many museums and historical venues. The food is great and the people are very friendly. Any of the downtown hotels put you near the action...but if you want the best, The Hermitage Hotel is just spectacular.

We love Nashville! However it has gotten very expensive! The drinks were very expensive everywhere, but the music in all of the different bars was wonderful! We looked for some of the murals on this trip and really enjoyed it. We saw different parts of Nasville that we had never saw before.Sandra - 10Scored 10

If you go to Nashville, go to Broadway street to go to Blake Sheltons bar Ole Red. It is so much fun , and the food and drinks are great . We saw a singer at Ole Red , CJ- Fields , wow this guys is incredible, he is so talented and funny

One cannot find true country music in a small bar anymore.
One cannot find true country music in a small bar anymore. Every bar on Broadway played music that could be heard 4 blocks away, so there was an unpleasant cacaphony of extremely loud sound most of the day.We chose a couple of bars and went during the day. We enjoyed Luke Bryan’s the most. Grand Ole Opry and Ryman theatre concerts were terrific. We rented a car for two days and went to Graceland one day, and Franklin the next. We enjoyed these excursions very much. Uber costs just as much as a taxi. We took the Wego bus back and forth to the airport for $2 a trip and only 10 minutes longer trip. Dolly Parton’s restaurant was cute and had reasonable prices, but much bigger than expected and quite noisy. We liked Blanco on Broadway at the Food Assembly Hall for mexican food in a more modern restaurant.

The Homewood Suites was less expensive than other hotels near Broadway but overall, still a lot to pay per night (in my opinion).

It was convenient to the downtown area and offered shuttled service which was cheaper than parking in a ramp downtown. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in the Nashville area. Would definitely stay here again!
