The accommodation is located in the community on the opposite side respect where the boat from Puno arrives. That's permitted to be the only tourist in this side of the island during our stay. You have to consider 20 soles per person to reach the accommodation from the pier with a motorbike. Otherwise you need at least 1 hour and 30 minute of walk.
The host family is amazing, Justa prepared delicious meals and joined us for a while for the walking up to pacha mama on the top of the island.
Amantanì is magic, it is a rural island surrounded by the lake. Stunning scenario where to relax and take great pictures.
The night sky from the house is unforgettable.

Authentic, unique homestay experience. Shower is topped up by Ernesto with water from the spring, warmed by the sun. Immaculate toilets with chamber pots for emergencies! Immerse yourself in Amantani life. Diego was on hand as a tour guide, and with heaps of knowledge, he showed us Amantani. Ilda, his sister, and mum Juana delivered amazing local food, dish after dish of local food. With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.
Featuring lake views, Richar’s home - experience Amantani with my family in Amantani features accommodation and a garden.

We had an incredible stay at Richard and Lucrecia’s home with their lovely daughter Isabel. Lucrecia is exceptionally kind, and her cooking is truly delightful! We were welcomed with a delicious sopa de quinoa and grilled trucha for lunch. Later, Lucrecia guided us around the lake shore and showed us the stunning sites of Pachamama and Pachatata. Isabel took us to a charming community welcoming party near the house, and Lucrecia graciously lent us some of her beautiful traditional clothes. We then enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep in the cozy and warm beds of our room, which had a terrace overlooking the beautiful Lake Titicaca. We highly recommend staying with these amazing and loving hosts. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer than one night! Muchísimas gracias de nuevo por todo, Lucrecia. Abrazos fuertes de las francesas, Marine y Clémence!

This the plase of rebirth, of shading the past and creating a new destiny. A loving couple will introduce you in the harmony of the Amantani culture. Amazing healthy food served with love by the lady of the house, good conversations and guidance from the man of the house, a cozy home to renew your batteries. You find here all the facilities you want: private bathroom, hot water, warm blankets, very clean and well maintained room. I highly recommend this place.
This is the most peaceful place on earth. The island offers the most sacred experiences. We spent two nights there, eat completely organic food from the garden, our host was amazing. If you want an authentic Lake Titicaca experience, this is it. Their 11 year old son took us to the fountain of youth, the Pachamama and Pachatata temples on top of the mountain. We had a wonderful experience with a local Shaman. This place is well cared for, host and family are the most loving people, sharing their lifestyl with their guest. There are no cars on the island, you walk everywhere. The boat ride to their place was breath taking as it is on the south side of the island, very private and quite.

A peaceful magical little island.
A peaceful magical little island. Both preserved in time through ancient traditions, but also in the modern era with solar power, hot water, etc. Two days was the perfect amount of time, and having it at the end of our travels as time to unwind was perfect. Don't expect cell-reception or wifi (we didn't have any the whole time) and just become one with the nature around you.
