Cozy and homey, comfortable stay! Nice garden. Very clean home. Very spacious (we didn't actually end up using the second room). Parking included. Self check in / out.
Good communication with the host.
Supermarket just down the street was convenient.
We also happened to be visiting when there was a festival about a block away, which was a lucky surprise.

The location is in a shopping street, but doesn't get noisy. It's close to shops and restaurants which is great.
The hotel bar is very nice, both for the cocktails, and for a proper dinner.

This was our first stay at a Apa Hotel chain. The room is a typical Japanese city hotel that is small compared to US rooms. They had a robe that you could wear in the room. The breakfast buffet spread was quite nice with a variety of items to choose from.
