High Modernism, Danish Style. Love it or hate it, we loved it. Loved the board marked concrete, the beautifully designed study rooms, the double height space and the stair. The fire in the communal living room is wonderful. The amazing views from the tower, the art pieces in the gardens, the amazing modernist sculptures in the foyer!!

The front desk when there was very helpful. Was a bit disturbing that at check in no one was available. At one point I thought I locked myself our of my room and no one was there to assist. I had not locked myself out, but still a little unsettling. Compared the rate for the stay with friends that live in Denmark and they thought I paid too much. Nonetheless, I was given a room with a shared bathroom in a flat and had to fight with the staff for hours to get the room I had booked with a private bathroom. I was not the only one who had received a room without a bathroom, so be careful when booking this hotel.
