So many options what to do, from walking in the vineyards, enjoying historical sites, cycling, great food and wine in the local cellars or visiting neighbouring villages - there is always thing to do.MilosCzech Republic - 10Scored 10
There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not...
There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not enough for us. If you rush you may get it all in but it would not be enjoyable. We traveled in the off season and it was beautiful. We will return in peak season to see the gardens and enjoy all the area has to offer. Keep in mind most things close at 4:00.

Valtice is a small city with a pittoresque main square and a beautiful castle. Most of the buildings have been renovated and kept the historic style. There is a laid back atmoshhere as the town is not too touristic. Cycle tracks are leading through vineyards to Ledice and Mikulov. But there are also good train connections

It is not just Valtice but three cities that are close to each other - Valtice, Lednice and Mikulov. Beautiful castles, huge gardens, a lot to see by walking, riding bicycles or using a horse carriage. Historic sites that are marked by UNESCO as a European garden.

It's far enough from the town to experience silence, appreciate fresh air and walks in the surrounding vineyards. breakfasts are served in a nice space. modern design, good quality furniture both in the room and common areas. free parking in front of the property. good location for stargazing, if you own a telescope you might think of bringing it with you :)

In addition to the bedroom + private bathroom, guests have access to a fully equipped common kitchen (fridge, stove, kettle, coffee machine...). Mrs Jana was a wonderful host, taking time to check us in, give us all the local tips and guidance. The location of the accommodation was fairly central, <10m walk to the city centre/castle, also close to the bike rental shop.AndreaSlovakia

The breakfast was very good and varied. We served a bottle of N48 on the terrace in the evening that was very good. Parking was free of charge. There are parking spots inside the courthouse and in front of the gate. Do yourself a favour and book this accommodation. You won’t regret it.:)

The idea of having your own "small" wine cellar right down your room is just perfect and we used that especially when lazy to go out in the evening. The breakfast was excellent- plentiful and varied choices. The hotel is in an excellent situation- away from the noise of the main square but close enough to walk into the center of town easily. It's not in the centre of Valtice so quiet and away from the crowds, but everything in the town is quick to get to. There's no kitchen (I thought there was) but a fridge and hot pot.
