Located in Palomino, 400 metres from Palomino Beach, Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hostel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The staff were fantastic. The room was great. The air conditioner was fantastic, and the ceiling fan too. There was mosquito netting around the bed (although I didn't see any mosquitos, probably because of the air conditioning?). Breakfast by the pool was very nice, and the many resident dogs were very good boys and girls. I also recommend a couple of drinks: the Caribbean Dream and the Choco Loco.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and à la carte restaurant and a garden, Tiki Hut Hostel is located just a few steps from Palomino Beach right between Palomino and San Salvador rivers. Best hostel we've stayed in so far! It is very clean (especially the shared toilets and showers), the pools are great, there are loads of options to hang out, and things to do (pool, ping pong, jenga). The staff is very accommodating and the food in the restaurant is awesome. Would definitely recommend!!

First of all, I must say that the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff was very helpful leading up to the trip, answering all our questions via WhatsApp and even arranging transport from Santa Marta Airport to the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day and had both AC and a fan, along with plenty of fresh towels. The hotel staff was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times and always provided us with water from the fridge. Not to mention the gym, tours and the option of ice-baths. The breakfast served during our stay was absolutely delicious and satisfying. We were served with a variety of food items including fruit, eggs, and even pancakes on the second day. Coffee and fresh fruit juice were also included in the meal. Additionally, we booked a massage through the hotel and it turned out to be one of the best I've had in a long time, and the price was very reasonable. We were able to walk straight out of our room to the clean pool, which was maintained daily.

UUTTAAKA Eco-Hotel snýr að ströndinni og býður upp á 3 stjörnu gistirými í Palomino með garði, verönd og veitingastað. The location was incredible. We had a private beach to ourselves. It’s a hidden gem they don’t have a lot of guests so you will really feel welcomed by all the staff and enjoy a private beach. The staff even came to our room to bring us food and drinks when we texted them. They also take very good care of the property we could see that they really cared about the place.

Gistihúsið Jaba Jan Hostal er vel staðsett fyrir afslappandi frí í Palomino og er umkringt útsýni yfir ána. Jaba jan is a beautiful place to stay, disconnect and enjoy the outdoors, with kind helpful staff and not to far from the main town. It has beautiful river frontage for a cool dip on a hot day. The food is fresh and tasty. The kitchen was a good place to mingle. The beaches and river mouth are a short walk. The river dec was perfect for yoga in the mourning, the nature is all around including growler monkeys. Its got a magic feeling to the place and I will return in the future for sure. Thanks guys for making me feel at home.

Maria Mulata Palomino er staðsett í innan við 100 metra fjarlægð frá Palomino-ströndinni í Palomino og er með garð og bar ásamt ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. I stayed in different hostels in Palomino and Maria Mulata was my favourite place to be: It’s right next to the beach and has incredible good vibes! Gracias por todo y hasta pronto!

Donama River er með útsýni yfir rólega götu og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 1,2 km fjarlægð frá Palomino-strönd. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Perfect place to stay in Palomino! The staff is super friendly and can help you book tubing if you want. Beautiful cat and cute puppy in the lobby! The rooms are very comfortable, and we enjoyed the hammocks on the patio—incredible views of the mountains! It’s close to the bus stop on the main road and just a 20 minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend!

Casa Flor Hostel & Drinks er staðsett í Ríohacha, 300 metra frá Playa de Riohacha, og býður upp á bar, sameiginlega setustofu og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. Gistihúsið er með fjölskylduherbergi. The staff are all very nice and friendly especially Meyleidi, rooms are comfortable with good location and luggage storage for people going to La guajira tour.

Apartamento #3 complex en excelente ubicación er staðsett í Ríohacha á Guajira-svæðinu og býður upp á verönd. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að svölum og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Our host Olga was really welcoming and helpful! We've only spent a night there and did not have much time, but in case we would have wanted to cook, the kitchen would have provided us with everything!
