She is extremely welcoming, prepares amazing breakfast, coffee and house-made lemonade in-between. I can definitely recommend the offered tour to the Tatacoa desert. They also organized a collectivo back to neiva for us.

It was really cool to be out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The hotel is very rustic and located on a functioning ranch with cows and horses and everything. It is also walking distance from the two grey desert hiking trails. The owner was really friendly and fun to chat with as well as helpful with anything we needed. The food was also some of the best hotel food we’ve had.

The outdoor space is lovely, great place to relax and read a book The personal pool is very nice as well. The kettle for coffee and tea in the room is a great idea.

Avani del desierto está en Villavieja y tiene jardín, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The location is great as it’s really close to the Tatacoa Desert. We stayed here for one night on a ride through South America on our motorcycles. Ricardo and his wife are really pleasant people and we were able to store our bike there for the day while we were visiting the desert.

The owner is so friendly and nice and she was a HUGE help for me! She organized a private tour/driver to the desert for me, Augusto was great! She also organized a private person who was willing to drive me to Neiva after 10pm because I took a nightbus to Cali and the last bus from the village leaves around 6pm. She made me a delicous breakfast and the bed was the most comfortable one I slept in since weeks! Don‘t miss out in this great host and hostel :)))) Muchas Gracias para todo!

LUNA del DESIERTO TATACOA se encuentra en Villavieja. Hay wifi gratis y se ofrece parking privado por un suplemento. En el hostal o pensión, cada habitación incluye armario. La atención fue espectacular, se siente estar como en casa, muy cálida, el desayuno muy económico para lo bueno y la cantidad, volvería de nuevo ❤️
