The bathrooms. The bathrooms in the room where not private, the water pressure was so low it felt like showering with a drip and the bigger shared dorms although it had two bathrooms, the bathroom was open at the top and bottom. This meant the whole room can hear what's going on in the bathroom and smell too. The showers always had sand and slippery floor, which I understand is difficult to keep clean but the dispenses were empty. I liked the hostel but that was so uncomfortable it made me feel like I needed a good shower after I left.

I liked the food options and the yoga class provided by the hostel. It's a good location on the beach and had friendly staff who helped. The hostel is pretty and a calm vibe where we were able to relax.

I asked for ealier check in and they didnt let me, and by the time of check in the room was not ready so i waited another hours…. Badly organized. The staff at bar is super slow, i waited for coffee and breakfast more than 45 minutes and had to ask for coffee 3 times. I try not to complain about staff like that but it was a bit annoying. Fan and light was not working well and light was switching on at night. Selina charges quite much for stay so at least service could be good.

The bad: - Problems with running water: I was not able to take a shower at night and my wife couldn't do it in the morning. For a stay like this I consider this highly problematic in this price point. I didn't receive any guidance or work-around from management either, so very dissatisfied in that regard - Access to take the sun in the beach is not ideal

Pricy bar and restaurant. The next door disco pounding away killed the evening mood. Both may attribute to the lack of patrons after dark. Sorely lacked hammocks!

the grounds were grungy, the rooms were only and funky. AC is lacking or limited. missing a matts to limit sand in passages and rooms.

Since it is at Palomino beach some other bars at the beach can be loud during the night (mainly in the weekends). If you want a more quit night don’t book at the beach front or Carrera 6 but more in the outside areas of the town.

Amazing location at the Palomino beach where the vibe is awesome and sunsets are stunning. Friendly and super helpful staff. Gregory did an amazing job helping me when I was sick during my stay. There are really nice yoga sessions in the morning. Cleaning of room everyday. The breakfast was also really good.

First Selina hostel I liked, maybe because it is quite small and located directly on the beach. very friendly and helpful staff. Good wifi for Palomino standards, I was able to work without any problems, nice food in the restaurant, some live music, overall relaxed atmosphere. Thaks guys

The dinner menu prices were not matching the quality. The pillows were way too large to be useful. For the price, I was expecting a much nicer room. The choice of excursions could have been better. The beach was nice, but it was more for surfing than for normal sunbathers, there's nicer beaches in Colombia.

The location was great! The beach bar and live music was excellent. The pool was very clean. I loved the weekend breakfast brunch! I liked the choice of toiletries in the bathroom. The welcome drink was delicious.

The wifi was kind of spotty, especially when it rained. Came here to work but sometimes I couldn’t. Other times, though, it was possible to work and videocall.

The pool was amazing and the hostel lies close to the beach. The breakfast is really good and there are multiple choices. The restaurant is overall very good!

no atmosphere and no attempt to make any. tours are expensive, kind of dirty with the sad it is difficult to keep clean but there was no effort to try combat this issue

the food as ok, it could be better

we stayed one night, my boyfriend stayed at Selina in Costa Rica and said it was great. This hostal was in front of the beach, had a great bartender who served us amazing drinks. the hostal was amazing and had yoga classes. The pool was not working when we got there unfortunately. The food was ok, it was good but not amazing. But over all is an amazing place to stay!
