Sweet family run hostel with very welcoming staff, good location, clean, lovely dogs, yummy breakfast, social and relaxed vibe

I stayed in a private room and the windows are made from mosquito netting and open to the outdoor area, so could be a bit loud in the evenings.

Nice family run hostel in the centre of Palomino. The included breakfast was lovely and had a few options. Staff were very warm and friendly. Bedroom/bathroom were spacious and nice outdoor areas.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Bella Flor! It had great atmosphere and friendly staff, was always kept clean, had a stable wifi, comfy hammocks, and tons of options for breakfast to choose from. Highly recommend!

Vibe is relaxed yet social. Comfy beds and nice hostel layout. Best part is the delicious breakfast (generous portions too). Staff are lovely also. One of my faves I've stayed in during 3 months in Colombia.

Fantastically run, beautiful hostel!! Staff are some of the friendliest we have met in Colombia, Diana and Daniela are amazing, taking time out of their day to assist you with anything. Diana also speaks impeccable English, although is patient and happy for you to practise your Spanish with her aswell! We extended our stay multiple times and they always found room for us, even when they were technically full (amazing space on top floor they save for friends and family). The hostel is a stunning bamboo and timber construction, dorms are 4 people max and spacious, airy and comfortable. The staff clean round the clock so its always spotless. 4 breakfast options every day (included in stay) all of which are delicious (best hostel pancakes we've had!). Location is great, 10 minute walk from the beach so far enough from the party spots thats its quiet at night. They also have a resident family of dogs that are super friendly and playful and will accompany you to the beach and river for swims. Honestly cant say enough good things, this is one of the best (if not the best) run hostel we've ever stayed at, and one of the cheapest, operated by people who generally seem to enjoy what they do. I would reccomend this hostel to anyone passing through Palomino!!

A bit noisy in the evening and during the night (barking dogs every now and then, voices, music), the kitchen staff was not always in the best mood even if they made the best breakfast I had so far in Colombia!

Comfy beds, nice breakfast with several options, good kitchen for a hostel, and nice chill area with enough hammocks, tables, games, and even instruments for free use! Good location close to all that is necessary and short walk to the beach. Beautiful ambiente

This is Palomino <3 Coliving with nature… Our room was utterly beautiful, down to every perfect little detail! <3 Open aired, plants in the bathroom for your privacy, just the entire space - we were in awe! This is definitely one of our favourite places to stay, if not “the favourite”! Wi-Fi is amazing here, especially for Palomino, where the power goes out every now and then - Bella Flor has both a generator, and solar panels so the internet is stable even during outages. This is highly important for my partner who works online. So we immensely appreciate this - to be able to take “your office” with you to paradise. The communal spaces are also gorgeous! Just saw a hummingbird in the garden the other day… Easy to meet other travelers, and there’s also a quiet space for when you need “me time”. They also have a communal kitchen. And you can see the stunning sierra and its snow (yes, snow!) from their backyard… Of course we extended our stay here for longer <3

I would have given this place a 10/10 score but I found the mattress on the bed a little too firm for me so I didn't sleep as well as I might have. Otherwise absolutely nothing to say against this lovely place.

This place is so well run. An exemplary hostel . The staff were so helpful and genuinely meant it when they told me to let them know if there was anything they could do to help or to let them know if anything wasn't as it should be so they could correct/repair it. The place had a great relaxed atmosphere. It was kept very clean and tidy - not easy in Palomino. Highly recommended.

Because the rooms are partly open, it can be quite noisy. Bring some earplugs and you’ll be fine!

I always go back to Bella Flor because they offer such a family-like treatment to their guests and I love the private rooms. They have just enabled their top floor for yoga classes and other activities and it's so chill!

The bottom bunks don't get as much of the fans as the top bunks, which is important in Palomino - suggest top bunk.

Great location close to everything yet nice and quiet. The place is beautifully built. Free breakfast. All day coffee. Nice blankets. Mosquito nets. Good vibes all round.

- Not a super social hostal (perfect if you just want a nice place to wind down) - it is here that I learned that porridge is made in Colombia by simple pouring hot water on oats. I got a soup of unboiled oats. :(

- Property is in overall good condition - Friendly staff - Clean - 4-bed dorm is splendid - The upstairs private double rooms looked REALLY nice (too expensive for a solo traveler like me) - laid back atmosphere - Compared to other hostels in Palomino these showers and toilets are royal 👑
