This is my second stay at Hotel Kantarrana. Located right in the center of Jardin, very close to the main plaza and near some excellent restaurants (Mambru, for example), this guesthouse offers a laid-back vibe as it has a beautiful enclosed courtyard with a hammock and terrace on the second floor. I recommend staying in the larger rooms on the second floor. Breakfast is excellent, but it is the welcoming and hospitable staff that makes this such a great place to stay. The room itself: Shower is strong, lots of hot water, bed is firm yet comfortable, and it is quiet at night. There is the hourly chiming of the church clock, but it's part of the ambience of Jardin.
